Ways with Watercolour with Amanda Beck on Tuesday Afternoons 6 lessons starting on Tuesday 14th January - 18th February 2pm to 4pm £120.00 Beginners and Intermediate A course of six sessions exploring the beautiful and expressive medium of watercolour and watercolour pencils. Each week we will focus on a technique and different subject matter to gradually build up your understanding and confidence of how to use fluid watercolour backgrounds and then add watercolour pencil techniques on top. This would appeal to those who wish to work in an expressive abstract way and also those who wish to learn about use of colour and drawing techniques with watercolour pencils. This course aims to encourage students to build their confidence in working both directly from life, photos and from sketches. As an Artist and Illustrator, I’d like to share my experience and knowledge with you of how to get the most out of this wonderful and often unpredictable medium to enrich your drawings. Each session will start with an exploration of techniques and a demonstration along with hints and tips. All materials will be provided but if students have any of their own watercolour brushes then please bring them along.
