Have you got a set of pencils gathering dust and do you long to do something creative again? Or do you want to polish your pencil skills further? This course will encourage you to practice the techniques of drawing before refining skills using a variety of objects. Weather permitting, we take the class outside…! Suitable for both beginners and intermediate. Claire Braeburn is an experienced teacher with Craven Arts who will encourage and enable you to try different technical skills. We will look closely at objects; their facets, shadows, perspective and composition while really getting to grips with the pencils. This course allows you to see the beauty in everyday objects and challenges you to look at pieces differently. Please bring an A4 sketchbook, the rest of the materials are provided.
