People's Choice Award

Eligibility: The competition is open to all visitors of the North Yorkshire Open Studios Spring Exhibition. Voting Period: Voting for your favourite artist will be open from 21st March until 10th May 2025. How to Vote: Participants can cast their votes at the exhibition by filling out a voting form provided at the venue or online via our website. Each participant is allowed one vote. Prize for Voters: All voters will be entered into a draw for a chance to win a bundle of art materials worth over £200. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Prize for Artists: The artist who receives the most votes will be awarded the title of "People's Choice Artist" and will receive a £200 voucher to spend at The Art Shop Skipton. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Winner Selection: Voters' Prize: The winner will be selected at random from all eligible votes received by the closing date. The draw will be conducted by an independent party. Artists' Prize: The artist with the highest number of votes will be declared the winner. Notification: Voters' Prize: The winner of the voters' prize will be notified via the contact details provided on their voting form within two weeks of the competition closing date. Artists' Prize: The winning artist will be notified via the contact details provided to the exhibition organisers. Data Protection: Participants' personal data will be used solely for the purposes of administering the competition and will not be shared with any third parties. General: The organisers reserve the right to amend the terms and conditions of the competition at any time. By participating in the competition, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. The decision of the organisers is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
